My name is Damary, and Atabey Botanica began during my own breast cancer journey. As I became more intentional about what I put into my body, I also began paying closer attention to what I put on my skin. I wanted skincare made with ingredients I could recognize and understand, so I started making my own.
What began as something personal grew into Atabey Botanica: small-batch, plant-based body care made without synthetic fragrances or preservatives. Along the way, I also learned that caring for my body was about more than what I put on it. The Nourishing Rub Ritual grew from that experience, as a reminder to slow down, be present, and give our bodies the same care and attention we give so much else in our lives.
Atabey is for anyone who wants to understand what they are putting on their skin, make more intentional choices, and turn an everyday act of skincare into a moment of care.
